Enjoy Tuscany on wind- and waveless days

Italy the land of 'la dolce vita' (the good life). Italians are genuine bon vivants and simply have good taste, whether it be food, fashion or design.
ITALY

Italy a country with many faces

Italy is a country with many faces, from beautiful mountain landscapes to a phenomenal coastline and . So if you want to taste this feeling, Italy is highly recommended to go to.

That image we have of the typical Italian is; temperamental, romantic, bon vivant and stylishly dressed. This image has mainly been developed in the film industry and not that it is completely wrong, but if you go to Italy with the idea that you are only going to see well-dressed, arm-waving people, you will come home with a rude awakening.

But bon vivants is definitely made for them, from the delicious coffee while standing at the bar to the extensive lunches with the whole family. Eating, drinking and being together, or ‘la dolce vita’, is something they are taught at an early age.

Italy is a country for nature lovers, for foodies, for romantics, for design enthusiasts, for people with taste, for sunbathers, for water sports enthusiasts…. Italy is actually everyone’s friend and has something to offer for everyone.

Tuscany

We really love Tuscany. It is such a pleasure to travel in Tuscany, people are super friendly, price value is more reasonable than we used to in The Netherlands and most of all there is so much to do.

As watersports-lovers we are always on the hunt for wind and waves. Well our trip in October 2022 was nothing of that. We packed our car with the wing foil sets and a kite foil set for light wind. I don’t know what we thought, but we had to manage a wind- and waveless trip…

Thank God Tuscany has so much cool things to do like hikes, beautiful cities and villages and an amazing nature. So no need to feel sad for us, we enjoyed Tuscany to the maxx!
